French-Vanilla, Butter-Pecan, Chocolate-deluxe? I just got back from a quick trip to france. The shit was mad banging cause someone else paid for the flight and hotel so you know the deal, we kept it hot in the streets. So what do they eat in France anyway? Frogs? Rabbits? Ducks? Maybe the rich dudes that can afford 20 Euro a meal, but for the broke MF’s keeping it gully on the block for 5 Euro – Donairs and Crepes. So i’m thinking aight, France be like close to the Middle east and shit, closer than Vancouver at least, so their Donair’s gotta be banging right? WRONG. Shits were AAAAAAAIIIGHT, but when homeboy asked me if i wanted mayo or ketchup i almost hollered back “I didn’t order no fries Frenchie!”, but yo he was putting that shit on my Donair?!?! C’MONSON !!!! Garlic Sauce, Hot Sauce, Yogurt Sauce, Hummus and thats about it, keep your mayo and ketchup for the frogs. At the least the place was clean. I’m outtie see ya on the flip.

The survey says, ya dead. Yeeeeeeeeeee hoe its valentines day. So I hope you got some special plans for your special someone or they might get got. Me? I’m having lunch at Saigon Fare again. These Vietnamese bitches love me long time, know what im talking bout? Extra spring rolls and all that good good. I probably go here 3 times a week, I hit up the Seafood joint today but I usually get the Lemon grass chicken on Vermicelli with spring roll or the Spicy Chicken viet sub. Value? You know it hoe. Shit, today i even walked out without paying, thats how we do kid (then i went back in and paid and said sorry, i keep it gangster but i’m not a dick). Stick and move kid, stick and move.

You got the base? I put the glock up to your face. It’s snack time and we try to keep things simple cheap and fresh on these mean streets. Here’s how to make Guacamole like me.

Ingredients (the recipe):

3 large ripe Avocados (not too ripe stupid) Cilantro – 1 grip Lemon or Lime (i prefer lime but fuck it i didn’t have one) Garlic – 3 cloves Onion – yeeee half an onion son! (i didn’t have one, the streets were dry) Chips – preferably corn flour, preferably fresh – 1 bag Salt and Pepper – to taste (don’t cut your shit down too much)

Instructions (for all you smart dumb cats):

Chop up 2 avocados CHUNKY and chop 1 up really small Dice up your garlic and cilantro together super fine, no chunks Squeeze half a lemon or lime in mixing bowl and add ingredients salt and pepper to taste mash it up put in the fridge for about 30 mins to cool and settle the flavor open up your bag of chips and dip in

You get your fix or what? The first taste is free.

Did you know the olympic torch was a tradition created by the nazis? The story is that when germany hosted the games in berlin, they lit a torch on mount olympus and used long distance runners to carry it all the way back to germany. It wasn’t a Greek tradition at all. I think its kind of screwed up that we continue this tradition. I read that this year China is planning on taking the torch across the world. Oh well. A sign on your window that says “All Day Breakfast” is almost as attractive to me as a sign that reads “Free Money”. We hit this little joint named the “Olympic Flame Cafe” out of sheer convenience for lunch one day. Surprisingly enough I didn’t order breakfast. Best believe the sandwich and burgers were on point though. I hit up the BLT with a side of chowder (chow-derrrr) and a fat dill pickle. Then it was back to the grill.

So what’s the first thing I’m gonna do when i reach San Francisco? Obviously I’m hitting up Pier 39 for that famous bread bowl chowder i heard all about (Dumb Dumb Dumb). As you can see it was a beautiful day and we had our stunner shades on.

Pier 39 is basically the tourist draw of the city. A variety of different vendors offer a variety of different chowders for a variety of different prices. We decided to hit the one that let you drink beer in the open areas, The Crab Stand. I spiced mine up with some pepper and Tabasco sauce, guzzled down my pint of anchor steam (a little bitter) AND THEN I ATE THE BOWL! It was real good too, eh. The prices range up and down the pier from as high as $8 (if you eat at a restaurant) to as low as $5.25 (the ghetto bowl). There are plenty spaces to sit on the dock so don’t waste your money on a restaurant, especially when they let you take beers “to go”.

The secret is out. Someone stole my camera. If you know who did it or you did it then f*** you. Sorry to all my fans (all 3 of you) i am on hiatus as i can’t afford a new one right now. If anyone has an old digital camera that they would like to donate to EATSTREET feel free to message me here or drop it by the shop. It is a Nikon Coolpix (i know weak) and i want it back. I am heading to San Francisco for the weekend and would really like to have it back or replaced by then. DONT BE SHOOK HOOK ME UP!
